Day of the Event: August 24th

What’s provided: 

  • All Food and Beverages throughout the day 

(please ensure you take responsibility for your health and safety by bringing extra water and snacks and keeping hydrated throughout the day). 

​

  • Tournament Schedule 

The tournament schedule will be given to you during the “Welcome Reception” at Cleveland’s House on the day of the event. You will be playing throughout the day against other teams that are within your same level, travelling between court locations either by car or boat. 

​

  • Registration: [Welcome Reception – 8:30 AM]

You will all be given swag, including an event T-shirt.

You will receive a Melanoma Canada UV protection bracelet in the morning at registration – please wear it throughout the day.

  • Parking Available on-site 

Parking is available at Cleveland’s house (for breakfast & Gala Reception) & Parking is available at all cottages for the tournament. 

*Transportation is NOT provided

**Traveling by boat is an option

[8:30 AM – 10:00 AM] BREAKFAST & RTP WELCOME! 

Location: Cleveland’s House - 1040 Juddhaven Rd., Minett 

 

  • Check-In your team & get your tournament bracelet

  • Pick Up your SWAG bag

  • Get your Tournament Day Schedule 

  • Receive Breakfast 

  • Join in or watch the celebrity games! 

*Celebrity games are played by the TOP 4 fundraising teams 

 

[10:30 AM – 3:00 PM] TOURNAMENT PLAY

Location: Based on level, you will be playing 1-2 cottages throughout the entire day

 

Please note, that you will be required to find your transportation (via car or boat) throughout the day to travel between Cleveland’s House and the tournament cottages. 

 

Points System: 

Match: Best 2-3 Games 

(Each match has up to 30 minutes to complete: 5 min warm-up, 25min game time) 

  7 Points – 7 Points – Tie Breaker (if needed) 

 Tie Breaker: (If required) First team to 3 points 

 

**In the case where the match is not complete in the 30 minutes of game time – the cumulative point score will determine the match 

 

[12:00 PM – 1:30 PM] LUNCH 

Lunch will be provided in all “HUB” cottage locations. These “HUBS” will be located within walking distance of all courts/cottages. 

 

[3:00 PM – 4:30 PM] SEMI-FINALS & FINALS GAMES 

Those qualifying for the semi-final and final games will be shared ON THE EVENT WEBSITE

 

The Rock the Pickle Website will be updated live after every match, so you are aware of what teams qualify for the semi-finals and final games. 

 

The top 4 highest scoring teams in each division will move forward. 

**If the scores in these categories are tied – a tie-breaker game will be played before the semi-final games to determine which team will move forward. 

 

Tie Breaker Game: First Team to 7 points (or highest scoring team in a 10min. match) 

 

Once you have finished playing – you are free to go change for the Pickle Ball Gala Reception. 

 

[6:30 PM – 11:30 PM] PICKLEBALL GALA RECEPTION 

Each player is invited to attend the pickleball gala reception (+1 guest*)!

*Each attendee gets a guest unless your pickleball team player is your significant other

 

Please ensure you (and your guest*) RSVP to the Pickle Ball Gala.

You must RSVP to receive your ticket number which is required to enter the gala. 

 

Please note, that to be able to attend the gala, you and your team MUST meet the minimum fundraising goal.
